and other Disney cartoon characters. Shanghai Disneyland began building on April 8, 2011. Chinese
people will have another wonderful place to have fun in the future. Now , besides two Disney-land parks
in the United States, there are three theme parks around the world-in Paris,Tokyo and Hong Kong. In
recent years, because of the bad economy of the world,most of the parks have failed to make money.
But in Shanghai Disneyland, a "Journey to the West" theme park is expected to be built. And there will
be some new  attractions especially for Chinese people. For example, ]you will see Mickey Mouse with
traditional Chinese clothes welcome you at the gate of the park. And, Donald  Duck will greet you in
Chinese. Isn't that amazing? We ' re sure Shanghai Disneyland will attract lots of people from China and
outside China.
     "If Disneyland could be introduced to other countries, why can't a Chinese theme park find its way
to the world?" said Zhao Lihong of the Writers' Association (作家协会) of Shanghai City confidently.
