| One of my longestrunning battles (战役)with my kids is about manners specifically about whether it's necessary to send handwritten thankyou notes for gifts.I told my children it was a must so they have continued throughout their teens to write the notes,but they always grumble (发牢骚)that I'm out of step with the times.
